Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji

 Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji

Saint Ravidas holds a dignified place in society. Ravidas, the securities of humanity, was born in 1450. His father's name was Santokh Das and mother's name was Karma Devi. Saint Ravidas had Guru Swami Ramanand ji. It is omniscient that Saint Ravidas was a wonderful great saint. He made his significant contribution in banning the evils and evils prevailing in the society. He never believed in gathering crowds to give discourses, but still the light of his knowledge spread everywhere.

They used to do the work of tanners, and did not organize satsang etc. to burn the virtue of virtue, rituals and goodwill in the society. The name of God can be taken anywhere, there is no need to go to satsang etc. Even while working as tanners, the soul of Saint Ravidas was directly connected to God. But most of the saints of today, they drink alcohol, are also meat-eaters, like to watch dance, music etc. People impress the public with their glow. The way his illusion is exposed to the public, it puts the reputation of true saints on fire. People spend money on hypocritical babas in the craving for false salvation, and hypocritical babas fulfill their needs.

Today, due to the increasing prevalence of satsang and hypocritical babas, tensions are arising in many families. Relationships are brewing. But in the fascination of satsang, superstitious people are not even paying attention to their children. People should understand that satsang should be allowed to remain satsang. Since presently satsang causes lathsang in many families i.e. discord in the house and families and patibhang means families are devastated. Extremely superstitious thinking is a proof of the waste of life.

Life is meaningful only for those who need work, save their family and relationships, and the true reputation is the same, which will inspire all the living beings. Because the most annoying is when someone makes a distance even after getting close, not the one who goes away. There is a great difference between the old world famous saints and the saints of today. What is the truth of today's saints and babas, what is the fate? Everybody knows

There are mythological stories related to the life of Ravindas ji. Once Meerabai was going to the Haridwar Ganga bath with her father, where on the way, she was seen working as an old saint Ravidas tanner, seeing the old physical condition of that old, Meerabai became very emotional and gave Ravidas a diamond. Started giving bracelets. So that Sant Ravidan's life could be lived happily, but Ravindas threw the bracelet into the Ganges.

Seeing this, Meerabai became angry and asked for her bracelet. Ravidas then asked Ganga Maiya to "return the bracelet of this princess." After that Ravidas put his hand in the leather smelter and put a pile of bracelets like Meerabai's bracelet and asked Meerabai to identify her bracelet. Seeing this, Meerabai was surprised and accepted Ravidas as her guru.

In this context, Sant Ravidas's statement is prevalent, "Man chenga toh kathauti mai Ganga" The true saint is not identified with good discourse, but by purity of mind and true saints are immortal forever. Ravidas is one of them. Ravidas, the great saint who created a strong ideology in the world, merged into the Panchatatva on 1520 .
